Dal Fibre Roti

Ingredients Quantity
Rice flour 1 cup
Moong chilka dal ½ cup
Ajwain (carom seeds) ¼ tsp
Cumin ¼ tsp
Chaat masala A pinch
Garam masala ¼ tsp
Red chili powder ¼ tsp
Onion, chopped 1 Tbsp
Coriander leaves 1 Tbsp
Green chilies deseed, finely chopped 2
Desi cow ghee/oil

Method

Soak the dal for 3 hours. Wash well.

Make fine paste of dal in blender or food processor.

Put flour in a big bowl. Add all the ingredients to the bowl. Also add dal and dal ka chilka.

Make soft dough. Brush with oil.

Now make rotis by making walnut sized balls of dough & cooking on a hot griddle.

Serve with butter or ghee as a roti.
